What a Hectic Week!

Many things happened this week, and I totally forgot about my tumblr. First things first. I made it past the first cut for America’s Got Talent!

Anyways, I have so much homework to do, and so many clubs to juggle.

Who else feels this way? Take a deep breath and realize its never going to go away.

Recently, I tried out for the hit TV show, America’s got talent, with a dance/beat-box/slapstick act. I don’t know how its going to play out but lets hope I get passed the initial cut! Everyone one the show is amazing and I know I can never match what they do on the show, but I love to dance so, lets see what happens! I’ve seen plenty of acts cut out because of racism, crude humor, and nudity (believe it or not), and I bet I’ll do well enough to be better than those acts.

CAHSEE Testing!

So today, the CAHSEE (California High School Exit Examination) test was given out to all the sophomores at Monta Vista, and sweet jesus lord it was such a joke. I slept through half of the exam and I still think I did A+ work. Everyone else probably did too. One of the questions was

72) Replace the underlined words with the correct phrase

Were not going to the mall.

a) were’ not going

b) wer’e not going

c) we’re not going

d) Leave as is

You can understand why it was so easy right? The instructor was particularly annoying though. He had a microphone hooked up to a bunch of speakers that amplified his voice throughout the testing area, so as I was napping, he started telling us useless information like:

“Sorry for the interruption, but if you do not know how to spell a word, try sounding it out.”

“Sorry for the interruption, but use of dictionaries in this test are forbidden”

“Sorry for the interruption, break will begin in 30 minutes”

Otherwise, testing was relaxing and a good excuse to get away from our classes.

LET THIS BE A LESSON TO YOU ALL. Never take naps when a guy is waking you up half the time.

As we progress through the difficult journey of high school, I come across numerous people that stay up all night and all day. HOW DOES THIS WORK? I stay up most of the night and I sleep in 6th period and 7th period.

I really hope we don’t end up looking like this:

Anyways, I know I have my problems and reasons to stay up late, but ask yourself, are they worth it to lose the precious sleep we all complain about in the morning.

So I was parkour-ing one day, and I decided to be bold and jump over this extremely elevated fence. Instead, I hit a curb before even reaching the fence and I fell on my face.

Laugh as much as you want. I feel proud that I even do parkour. AT LEAST I’M NOT FAT WATCHING TV ALL DAY.

So, If you see me in school and half my lip is weird looking, you now know why.

Okay, so lately, I’ve been addicted to this game called “Maplestory.” A friend of mine introduced it to me about 2 months ago and I’ve made it a part of my weekly schedule. Its addicting because it takes forever to actually accomplish something in it. For all those reading right now, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT GET ADDICTED TO ANYTHING NON-ACADEMIC WHILE YOU ARE IN MONTA VISTA. No I am not being your motherly figure, but a friend. A good friend. A friend you want to pay back. With mula. lots and lots of mula. Just kidding. Not really.

As you can see in the picture, there are a bunch of cute little people with deadly abilities killing cute innocent animals for “EXP.” Pointless, but it is so addicting!

Surprisingly, My grades have been going up since I have started playing this game which confuses me, and I don’t know what to do now.

A quick intro on moi. I love everything! except mustard… so yea there you go. that’s me. I get distracted by the color red, i have a minor case of insomnia, and I find every little thing amusing.
